Our hay bale garden, aka the crop circles. The day after we had the bales delivered we rolled them around the yard into this configuration. We decided that instead of doing straight "straw bale gardening" we'd use the bales as the walls to create raised bed gardens. This is all very experimental.
As you can see, we have a long narrow front yard that originally was nothing but grass and one tree. BORING! There were a lot of landscaping options we could have gone with, but decided that it would be great to have a vegetable garden, something that, hopefully, will provide us with some beautiful produce.
